For Sale: 1965 Ford Mustang in Argyle, Texas for sale in Argyle, TX

Vehicle Description Early 1965 Ford Mustang A-Code with a 289 4-barrel (V8 225 hp 305 ft lb torque), factory air and power steering was acquired in 2019 from a family that has had it since 1968 when they purchased it from the original buyer (a Doctor in Albuquerque).
The car remained in Albuquerque as a daily driver until 1980 when the engine was blown.
A rebuilt Hesco (authorized Ford rebuilder) engine was purchased from Richardson Ford in Albuquerque.
The blown engine was removed, and the car sat for approximately 35 years when it was moved to Midland Texas.
The front end was rebuilt with new A-frames, shocks, idler arms and hydraulic disk brakes installed along with new rear leaf springs, shocks and a new gas tank.
The project then sat in the previous owner's garage until we acquired it in 2019.
We installed the rebuilt engine (less than 1000 miles on it since rebuild), added power brakes, a new interior, new exhaust system, touched up the pain, etc.
t and returned it to the beautiful condition it is in now.
It is still all stock, with the exception of the power/front disk brakes and a period-correct ( 1980) Motorcraft Solid State Electronic Ignition.
This Mustang is so much fun to drive and has tons of power! It is painted in the original color -- Arcadian Blue (only available until March of 1965) -- with a beautifully restored white interior and Ford Blue carpeting.
The factory-installed original air conditioning has been converted to run R134A and blows cold! The floorpans are solid with no rust due to being stored indoors in a dry climate (it is currently stored in a conditioned garage.
The underside of this car is so clean and rust-free that we did not bother to paint it.
Same for the inside of the trunk and doors where original stickers (jacking instructions, etc.
) are still in place.
We also just added a new battery to ensure trouble-free starting.
Now for the fine Print:
Sold as-is.
No warranties.
Clean Texas Title.
Buyer is responsible for pick up or shipping.
Known issues:
Paint is good, not perfect.
There is a run below the driver's door (not visible from street level), and at least 3 minor chips/scratches in the paint.
There are some minor oil leaks, as you would expect with a car of this vintage.
Horn does not currently function.
The vehicle is driven regularly, currently shows just under 100K miles.
Believe that to be accurate.
The vehicle has been garaged since new.
Paperwork included with the car are copies of New Mexico and Texas Titles from the previous owner (since 1968) rebuilt engine documentation (Ford Authorized rebuilder) and additional documentation of work done by the previous owner and myself.
This is a beautiful vehicle, but room has to be made for the next project.
